Studium Generale In Literature “Disaster in Literature”
Contemporary issues of "language and literature" today make many people are motivated to study it. Unfortunately, although many people are interested, not many of them understand correctly how to conduct such research. In this case is to know, understand and apply research methodologies in various phenomena of linguistic and literature.
By this consideration, the Department of English Teaching held a Studium Generale In Literature entitled “Disaster in Literature.” The event was held on Monday, 14th of August 2017 in the the 3rd floor hall of Campus 1 UNIPMA, Jl. Setiabudi no. 85 Madiun. The participants of this studium generale were the students of Department of English Teaching of UNIPMA.
This event invited an expert, Prof. Dr. Eva Horn from University of Vienna, Austria. She concerns on Western European literatures of the modern era, literature of Goethe's time, literature and political theory, intellectual history, and media theory. This event was expected to provide great knowledge for literary and linguistic devotees or for those, especially the students of Department of English Teaching of UNIPMA, who are planning language and literature research.
